Interacting with the Divine

I’m so excited. Most of the people that have collaborated with me so far have either have aligned goals or been long time friends of mine. It felt easy and almost expected that they’d be willing to help with this endeavor. But with this latest collaboration I was kind of shooting for the moon. I’ve learned in the last year a lot of people will say yes if you just have the courage to ask.

So, I reached out to Brent Lambert, fresh from his Hugo win as social media manager for the FIYAH Literary Magazine, and Nick Bright, who along with Brent, is a host of the Just Keep Writing podcast. These are two great creators and audio mentors to a lot of us amateurs who listen every week to Brent, Nick, Marshall, and Wil. So I felt they were well suited to create one of the more esoteric of all the aspects of our shared world. I asked them to make Gods.

And oh boy did they deliver. Armed only with the details we’ve released so far, they have created some really interesting and straight up cool divine entities to add to our world. They were able to take the themes and concepts that have been present in the world so far and extrapolate and expand them into a pantheon of our own. I am so proud that they decided to join our little endeavor.

We will be launching the first of our divine beings starting this coming weekend and having a new god every week until we drain our new collaborators dry. Get excited!
